• Asshole Victim: While he was (and still is) an asshole, he was (and still is!) going through a major amount of distress.
• Berserk Button: Other people scraping wax off of his copper builds.
• Bullying A Dragon: He picked a fight with God multiple times.
• Conspiracy Theorist: He had an entire room dedicated to his sculk conspiracies!
• Creature Of Habit
• Desperately Looking For A Purpose In Life
• Don't You Dare Pity Me!
• Extreme Doormat: Currently.
• Face-Heel Turn: Happened when the Warden got a hold of him, until it decided to discard him.
• Grass Is Greener: That old world he speaks of sounds pretty nice, doesn't it?
• Heel-Face Turn: Started in full force after the Warden left him and he regained his full sanity.
• His Own Worst Enemy: Obviously.
• Hoist By His Own Petard: By giving the Warden power and tormenting Finch, he drove Finch to rip out his soul. Rhubarb repeated what Finch did, and failed miserably, provoking the Warden to finally rid itself of him.
• House Of Broken Mirrors: He kept the broken mirror up for a very long time.
• I Hate Past Me
• I Just Want To Be Loved: By a certain someone, maybe.
• I Just Want To Be Normal
• I Just Want To Be You: A certain someone else.
• I Just Want To Have Friends
• I Know You Know I Know: Finch knew that Rhubarb was behind the sculk spreading, and Rhubarb knew that Finch knew... which, of course, Finch also knew. No one else did.
• I'm Having Soul Pains: It happens sometimes.
• Jerkass Woobie: You have to admit, he did get put in a lot of situations!
• Little Bit Beastly: More than a "little bit;" his ears and entire lower half are that of a red fox. He's effectively a fox-faun.
• Madness Mantra: It's eternity in there!

• Paper Tiger: He never wanted to hurt anyone, regardless of what he said out loud.
• Physical Scars, Psychological Scars: The prominent scars on his chest and back.
• Rage Against The Reflection: Broke a mirror by slamming his head into it repeatedly once.
• Redheads Are Ravishing: People seem to think so!
• Redheads Are Uncool: The more accurate trope.
• Sanity Slippage: During the Warden arc, he progressed from crazed rambling in books to talking nonsense to everyone else on the island. It spiraled from there, culminating in trying to remove his own soul.
• Scars Are Ugly: He does not like his.

• The Eeyore: He is rather miserable all the time. One must imagine Rhubarb happy.
• The Presents Were Never From Santa
• The Reason You Suck Speech: Received a lengthy one from the Warden.
• The Shut-In: Doesn't always like leaving his house. Once barricaded himself in for several days.
• They Killed Kenny Again
• Too Much Alike: With Finch.
• Trauma Button: He does not like slow, repetitive noises like the thump of a heartbeat or a clock ticking.
• Very Punchable Man: Look at him.
• Wake-Up Call: Finch repeatedly saying didn't have any memories of Rhubarb at all, he didn't hate him, and didn't want to hurt him, served as this for him, even if only somewhat. The more obvious example would be him leaving the meeting and failing to part with his soul.
• Weirdness Magnet: A specific type of weirdness seemed to follow him into this world.
• Woobie, Destroyer Of Worlds: Was on track to be, before the plot shifted away from unleashing the Warden on the server.
