The ever-smiling goof, always ready to make a new friend. Had the idea for Shitty Pillar and is most focused on building Hill Valley. He has a dog named Galileo that guards his starter base.

Personality

Owl is a cheerful guy who isn't the smartest in a lot of areas. But what he doesn't have in brainpower, he makes up for in friendliness. He'll turn anything into a joke in an attempt to lighten the mood. One of his favorite bits is saying "champion X, they call me!" (replacing X with anything from "wither fighter" to "honey farmer"), even if the title he's claiming has nothing to do with his actual skills. He also enjoys staring at people until they realize he's watching, or just following them around when he's bored.

Although he tries his best to keep a smile on everyone's face, he has a few secrets and sadnesses of his own. He doesn't like to talk about it, for fear of making others unhappy too. Any kind of big emotion is too strong sometimes, even good ones, and he might have trouble expressing it. When there's something he wants to say, but doesn't want to say it as himself, he'll attribute to something around him— "My bees say they're really happy to meet a new friend." If questioned on this, he tries to keep up the ruse, though he isn't very good at continuing the lie. Well, it's probably a lie.

He is the absolute worst at typing/spelling, and frequently makes mistakes when doing so. He's always moving, fidgeting with his hands or running around or rocking in place. His biggest goal is to finish Hill Valley. He doesn't know why.

Backstory

They originally appeared in the Birdhouse looking different than they do now. One day they looked in the mirror and saw an unfamiliar face looking back at them, tinted in red and blue. They've grown used to their new appearance, though they miss their old one sometimes.

Appearance

Owl is 6'1 and pretty lanky, although he has strong arms that give great hugs. He has light skin and short brown hair with a cowlick in the back. His eyes are blue and he has esotropia (his right eye points at his nose), but they are usually hidden behind a pair of 3D glasses. When he smiles, you can see a gap between his two front teeth. He wears a light blue collared t-shirt, cuffed jeans, and dark-colored shoes.

After having a mysterious dream, Owl woke up with a growth of sculk covering their left leg, ending just above their knee. The bottom of the growth is slightly rounded, like a peg-leg— they don't have a "foot" on that side anymore.

Relationships

Finch: Their friendship started off rocky and awkward, as Finch didn't know how to accept Owl's kindness. But they've been growing closer. They've even slept in the same bed.

Daisy: They miss him.

Jelly: Owl thinks they're a nice friend, although he secretly wishes they'd stop glow-inking all of his signs...

Rhubarb: They were a little scared of Rhubarb at first, but also held a lot of concern for him. They're trying to befriend him now that he seems to be getting better.

Animaverte: He doesn't like it very much.
